Jelena (Radovanac) Tripković is a graduate engineer of architecture, with a master’s degree in energy efficiency at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy in Banja Luka. She won the first prize for the architectural and urban design of the National and University Library of Republic Srpska in 2013. Jelena has extensive experience in the positions of architect, interior designer, and 3D artist.
With financial and mentoring assistance received through the EU4Business project “Support for starting STARTUP in the field of IT sector”, Jelena turned her business idea into a business called “Future 3D”, with the aim of offering architectural and product visualization services and computer animations services. Their services are intended primarily for domestic and foreign micro and small companies operating in the construction and real estate sales sector, architectural firms, and product design companies.
For those who don’t know, rendering is the process of creating a visual representation using 3D data. Computer animation is the process of digitally generating animated images – 3D animation and creating the illusion of movement created by displaying a series of images (renders) in a fast sequence. “Rendering and animation enable the visual presentation of a product or object to the general public or to the end users in a situation when the product or object has not been realized or built.” – Jelena further explains.
Using technical and artistic skills through software for 3D modeling, animation, and rendering, photorealistic representations of products and objects are created, which serve for their presentation, advertising, their better understanding, and easier communication. The advantages of using such displays are that they allow clients to visually present their ideas, project, or products that do not yet physically exist. This practically gives the possibility to start marketing activities even before the finalization and creation of the product, which facilitates communication with customers and enables immediate and effective understanding of the product itself. With the help of 3D rendering, literally impossible things can be done. Whether it is a specific environment or even other objects. This freedom allows the product to be presented at its best.
“Although two-dimensional drawings are sufficient in some cases, rendering makes the design of a product or object much more interactive and vivid for a wider audience, because they actually see it as in the real life. Quality rendering helps to strengthen the brand and relationships with customers because strong visual images remain longer in the viewer’s mind.”
Jelena used the financial boost to invest in the most modern work equipment and with the support of her mentor, managed to create a quality business plan.
“As a special advantage of the project, I would like to highlight learning new skills and connecting with mentors and young entrepreneurs going through the same process as me.” – Jelena.
To all young people who want to start their own business, Jelena says that with hard work, learning relevant skills and a little luck, every dream or idea is achievable.
